The Unibrain Fire-i™ 400 is a low cost 400 Mbps CCD progressive scan Industrial colour Camera with VGA resolution. It offers a convenient solution for uncompressed sharp and colour accurate VGA image acquisition. With 640x480 pixel resolution it is capable of speeds of up to 30 frames per second at full resolution.

The variable electronic shutter produces distortion-free motion freeze with full frame images. The extra light sensitivity and low smear minimise airtifacts to provide a superior video grade image. The camera features an industrial housing equipped with C-mount. The output can be switched to a built-in linear ramp reference picture generator that produces a colour bar and linear ramp.
