The QImaging Rolera-XR is a 12 Bit CCD monochrome camera for quantitative analysis in IR and brightfield imaging in life science, industrial and forensic applications. The 696 x 520 pixel sensor is capable of speeds of 20 frames per second at full resolution and up to 165 fps with Binning or Region Of Interest (ROI). High-speed, low-noise electronics provide linear digital data for rapid image capture. The Rolera-XR spectral range extends to 1000nm in the IR region.

The IEEE 1394 FireWire digital interface allows ease of use and installation with a single cable. No Frame-Grabber is required. The Rolera-XR includes QCapture software (Windows and Mac OS) for real-time image preview and capture. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available upon request for interfacing with custom software.

The Rolera-XR digital camera is suited for applications such as Real-Time, Low-Light Infrared Imaging; IR-DIC; Surveillance; Low Light Level Fluorescence; Wafer Inspection; Live Cell Imaging.
