The QImaging MicroPublisher 5.0 is a digital CCD colour camera with high speed Real-Time Viewing (RTV) for unsurpassed interactivity and productivity by combining ultra-high-resolution images. The 2560 x 1920 pixel sensor is capable of speeds of 25 frames per second at full resolution. Scanning, framing, and focusing have never been easier than with the MicroPublisher RTV. The 30-bit colour digitization produces high-quality images of bright field, dark field, and fluorescence work.

For demanding low-light applications, the MicroPublisher RTV Cooled camera minimizes thermal noise during long exposure times. With an IEEE 1394 FireWire digital interface, the MicroPublisher RTV is easy to install, requiring a single wire to connect the camera to a computer or laptop. It also eliminates expenses, installation problems, and inconveniences associated with frame grabbers and external power supplies.

The MicroPublisher RTV includes QCapture software (Windows and Mac OS) for real-time image preview and capture. A large selection of specialty software applications is available from QImaging’s software partners. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available upon request for interfacing with custom software.

The MicroPublisher RTV digital camera is suited for high-resolution still images for publication, documentation, and archiving in: Bright field, Phase-Contrast, & Dark field Microscopy; Fluorescence Microscopy; Pathology; Histology; Cytology; Haematology; Document Imaging; and Still-Image Animation.
