Using Teledyne DALSA's on-chip ADC* and CDS** technologies, the Piranha
16k CMOS camera delivers unprecedented speed with low noise and high dynamic
range in a compact form factor of 150 x 80 x 77 mm.
Built around Teledyne DALSA's proprietary CMOS sensor, the camera provides
greater throughput using the HSLink (Cameralink HS) connectivity which
takes the key strengths of Camera Link and adds its own new features and
functions. The combination of these two technologies provides scalable
bandwidth in 300 megabyte-per-second steps (from 300 to 6000 megabytes-per-second)
while using globally available, off-the-shelf components, and so meet
the market's increasing demand for higher resolutions and speeds.
