AVT Guppy F-038NIR B/C Camera

The AVT Guppy F-038NIR is an ultra-compact CCD interlaced scan camera with NTSC resolution, designed for applications where space is limited. Available in monochrome and colour versions, it delivers up to 30 frames per second at full resolution using the proven FireWire interface.

Compact FireWire camera

The Guppy F-038NIR is designed to fit into very tight spaces while offering the proven FireWire IEEE 1394a interface for high-performance imaging in demanding applications.

Monochrome and colour versions

The camera is available as the Guppy F-038B NIR monochrome model and the Guppy F-038C NIR colour model.

Visible and near-IR sensitivity

With high sensitivity across the visible and near-infrared portions of the spectrum, the Guppy F-038NIR is suited to applications with varying lighting conditions, specialised targeting, or inspection of defects not easily seen in visible light.

Low-noise image capture

A large 8.4 µm x 9.8 µm pixel area helps deliver excellent sensitivity and low-noise images.

Built-in image processing

Integrated image pre-processing helps improve image quality, reduce retouching, reduce CPU load and improve overall performance.

Flexible integration

Integrated Smart Functions allow the camera to take over essential frame-grabber functions, while its flexible API helps it integrate into existing applications.
