Inspects shape, surface and volume with a single "snapshot"
Metrology-grade and inline-ready
, The Gocator Snapshot structured light sensors offer full-field 3D inspection of stationary objects with a single "snapshot" scan. They are the first family of 3D smart scanners to use stereo structured light with built-in 3D measurement tools for specific 3D features.

The sensor’s 2-megapixel stereo camera provides accurate, full-area measurements suited for analyzing many features at once with a single exposure. The target is stationary during acquisition which minimises the cost of expensive motion system components (such as encoders), and the associated errors due to vibration.

Ideal for for inline inspection applications where objects are momentarily stationary such as robotic inspection or pick and place, the snapshot sensor enables high-precision inline quality inspection of multiple features on a large object, with a single snapshot, at inline production speed.

Features and benefits
• Metrology-grade 35 µm sensor
• Intuitive built-in GUI for ease-of-use.
• High resolution for accurate measurements
• Industrial projector delivers long lifetime and uniform lighting via LED lighting
• 2-megapixel stereo camera minimizes occlusions and provides accurate, full-area measurements
• Fast scan rate (4 Hz full-field)
• Compact and light weight for tight spaces and for mounting on robots

The Gocator advantage
No extra equipment or software required

Gocator provides all 3D measurements without additional components and so allows the user to go from the box to measurement in minutes, using any browser without added costs.

Easy to learn
The sensor features a web-based user interface that delivers total control over sensor operation, measurement tool setup and data communication via any web browser - Once connected, Gocator products enable the user easily and quickly to perform 100% non-contact inline 3D measurement, inspection, and control regardless of expertise level and with no software purchase or development needed.

Quick and simple to set up

Because the interface is easy to use, Gocator is quick to learn and set up for the application's specific needs. Performing 100% non-contact inline 3D measurement , inspection and control is easy irrespective of level of user-expertise.

Easy integration

Web-based user interface and flexible and pre-calibrated product allows easy integration into a current system or fitted into potential future systems.
