| Vimba X is Allied Vision's
fully GenICam compliant Software Development Kit (SDK). Vimba X is
a comprehensive SDK for machine vision and embedded vision cameras.
The SDK allows users to acquire images and explore camera features
without programming. Vimba X has is designed to comply with the latest industry standards and offers new innovative features and user-friendly widgets. It has been especially designed for Allied Vision's machine vision and embedded vision cameras, namely the Alvium series. Further, an updated Vimba Viewer allows users to easily configure the camera, save settings and load them in their machine vision application. The Vimba X SDK is extremely flexible and it runs on Windows 10 and 11, Linux, and Linux ARM (all 64-bit) while also providing Application Programming interfaces for C, C++, .NET or Python APIs. Vimba and Vimba X can be installed on the same system. GenICam is the industry standard for connectivity to industrial cameras and provides plug & play capabilities. GenICam functions to provide a generic programming interface for all GenICam cameras for all supported operating systems, interfaces and sensors. |
