Retiga E20 for long-exposure imaging with advanced thermal noise control
Teledyne Photometrics have unveiled the Retiga E20 CMOS camera, a compact yet powerful solution for seamless integration with true plug-n-play convenience. It combines Teledyne Photometrics smallest ever pixel at 2.4 µm with a 20-megapixel sensor for high resolution imaging across large samples, even at low magnifications with long exposure times.
Key Features |
Premium performance in low-light Conditions |
With minimal noise interference and a high peak Quantum Efficiency (QE), the Retiga E20 ensures top-notch image quality even in challenging low-light environments. |
Outstanding exposure capabilities |
The Retiga E20 CMOS achieves an impressively low dark current of 0.003 electrons per pixel per second. With Teledyne Photometrics advanced thermal noise control, The Retiga E20 allows exposures up to one-hour. |
Extended Dynamic Range (EDR)
The Retiga E20 offers Extended Dynamic Range (EDR) mode which combines a large full well capacity and a low read noise. This mode offers approximately 2.5 times the dynamic range of other modes. This feature enables seamless capture of both strong and subtle signals within the same image. |
Seamless Integration |
The Retiga E20 is designed for effortless interfacing, featuring a compact form factor and a single cable interface for hassle-free hardware integration. Onboard triggering, compatibility with Windows and Linux operating systems, and dedicated OEM support simplify the integration process. |
