High-Resolution Imaging

Engineered for sensors with image circles from 43.2 mm to 82 mm, the AMBER series eliminates the common issue of edge degradation. It provides high resolution and low chromatic aberration across a wide magnification range.

Industrial-Grade Reliability

Built with a vibration-resistant design, these lenses are "set-and-forget" optics. They are ideal for harsh conditions where machine movement or factory environments could typically impact optical alignment.

Additional Features

  • Vibration-resistant design: Built for harsh factory environments where machine movement can cause optical misalignment.
  • V38-mount system: Uses a modular interface with three lock-screws that lock into a V groove for a secure, stable connection. This allows for easy integration of extension tubes, helical mounts, and filters.
  • Optimised apertures: The series offers focal-length-specific aperture control, ranging from F2.8–F22 for the 40 mm model, F4.0–F32 for the 60 mm and 80 mm models, and F5.6–F22 for the 100 mm model.
  • Low chromatic aberration: Ensures that colour fringing doesn't interfere with high-accuracy measurements or inspections.

Applications

Line-scan inspection:

Ideal for linescan and continuous web inspection where the sensor size of linescan cameras is often much larger than standard cameras.

Logistics:

Large fields of view with barcode readable resolution to scan 3D objects require large high resolution sensors.

Machine vision:

Precise measurements over wide field of view.

Scientific imaging:

Suitable for laboratory settings that utilise high-resolution sensors from brands like Sony, Teledyne e2V, and GPixel.

Precision for large sensors
