The Kowa EC-IR Machine Vision lenses are developed for 1.2-inch sensors but are also compatible with 1-inch and 1.1-inch formats. The series is intended for applications in traffic monitoring, license plate recognition, machine vision, and geo-mapping. With a resolution of 24 MP and IR correction for both day and night use, the lenses provide consistent optical performance in varying environments.


The Kowa EC-IR Series is a family that consists of four machine vision lenses:

  • LM16EC-IR | 1.2" 16mm F2.4 C-mount
  • LM25EC-IR | 1.2" 25mm F2.4 C-mount
  • LM35EC-IR | 1.2" 35mm F2.4 C-mount
  • LM50EC-IR | 1.2" 50mm F2.4 C-mount
