The Miro C210J & C210 are built on the same platform,
each with distinguishing features to maximize their utility. Miro C-Series
cameras can be used individually
or grouped together with a Miro Junction Box to create almost any multi-camera
configuration imaginable: simple or complex
The cameras are small, light and rugged digital high-speed cameras, designed
to meet demanding applications. They have a 12 bit ½-inch CMOS
sensor and achieve up to 2,000 frames-per-second at full
resolution of 1280 x 1024 with very low noise to capture critical
details.
Miro C210J
Small, light, and rugged, the Miro C210J is designed for tough
and difficult situations, such as automotive on-board applications.
It uses a single cable to connect to the Miro Junction
Box. Versatile, it can be connected to a Remote Control Unit and also
has a DIN 1.0/2.3 connector for HD video.
Miro C210
The Miro C210 is ideal for single-camera
applications requiring a small, light, and rugged camera. With
three connections for Ethernet, Power, and Capture, it is compatible with
all cables for Miro cameras. Additionally, the Miro C210 has a DIN 1.0/2.3
connector on the camera front for HD video. It comes with a power supply
and MiniBoB to connect to the Capture connector. The MiniBoB is a simple
and reliable way to control the Miro C210 with Trigger, Video, IRIG in,
IRIG out, F-Sync, Ready, Strobe, Event and Memgate signals, greatly enhancing
the Miro C210’s capability. Alternatively, the camera may also connect
directly to a computer via Ethernet.
Features
and benefits |
Small, light &
rugged
|
At 73 mm x 73 mm x 72 mm and weighing
just 0.5 kg, the C210 and C210J are cubes small enough to fit into
the tightest places. Strategically placed mounting holes securely
position the cameras, even in difficult places. Tested at
170 G (IAW MIL-STD-810G) for shock, and 17 Grms (IAW MIL-STD-202G)
for vibration, they are rugged enough to withstand
the most challenging environments. |
|
|
Image protection |
Specifically designed to protect valuable
images if a cable is severed during an experiment, each camera
has local memory, including an internal, non-removable 240GB
CineFlash for image storage. The cameras can be set to save
all images immediately to the non-volatile CineFlash. An
internal battery provides up to 30 minutes of back-up power should
power be lost. |
|
|
Motion Analysis |
Phantom Camera Control (PCC) software,
included, and which includes the motion analysis tools, can perform
timing, position, distance, velocity, angle and angular speed measurements
and provide a full suite of calculations on the data. |
|
|
Modular and flexible for multi-camera
configurations |
The Miro C210 has connectors compatible
with other Phantom Miro cameras for power and control, allowing it
to operate as a stand-alone camera. The Miro C210J is designed to
operate through a single cable to a Miro Junction Box (JBox -
see right) . The JBox is a flexible hub designed
not only to operate the cameras but to create almost any multi-camera
configuration imaginable. Each JBox can accept up
to six cameras, or use any one of the camera ports to daisy
chain or tree branch to another JBox, significantly increasing the
number of cameras in a configuration. The Miro C210, as well as other
Miro cameras, can also connect to the Miro JBox, offering users additional
configuration flexibility. |
