The Phantom Miro 3a10 is a 1.6 megapixel camera with 3.2 Gigapixels/second throughput providing 1,850 frames-per-second at full 1280 x 1280 resolution. (Frame rates up to 310,000 fps are available at reduced resolutions.) Note that this camera is only available in the LAB-body style.

The minimum digital exposure is 1µs and the camera is available in both colour and monochrome versions and uses microlenses on its custom-designed CMOS sensor to achieve great light sensitivity, and the 12-bit pixel depth provides excellent image quality.

Available as optional accessories to the Miro 3a10 camera is the CineFlash storage technology. CineFlash is a removable, non-volatile storage device that slides into the camera body and provides a way to quickly save shots from the camera's memory without the need for time-consuming and costly downloads. The CineFlash module is later removed from the camera and inserted into the docking station which is connected to a computer making the stored cines immediately available on the computer. The cines can also be transferred from the camera to the computer and the images edited using the bundled Phantom Camera Control software.

Each Miro camera supports four lens mounts: Nikon F/G, C, PL or EF - EF mounts allowing the use of Canon EF and EF-S automated lenses. The lens can be ajusted and focused remotely using Phantom Camera Control software.

The cameras have a number of advanced features including global electronic shutter, an internal capping shutter, Image-Based Auto-Trigger, camera synchronization, immediate playback of recorded cines and are available in colour and monochrome.
