Phantom v711 High Speed Camera

High speed at full resolution

The v711 records 1280 x 800 images at 7,530 fps, giving users a fast widescreen capture format for demanding high-speed imaging applications.

At reduced resolutions, the camera can record up to 680,000 fps as standard, or up to 1,400,000 fps with the FAST option.

Fast exposure control

A 1 microsecond minimum exposure helps control motion blur, with exposure down to 300 ns available when using the FAST option.

Widescreen CMOS sensor

The 1280 x 800 CMOS sensor helps keep moving targets in frame for longer, making it easier to capture more of the event being recorded. The widescreen sensor also enables true 1280 x 720 HD images from a 1 megapixel camera.

Output and CineMag recording

Versatile Dual HD-SDI can provide 4:4:4 video, except at 60 fps, or operate as two single 4:2:2 HD-SDI ports — one for playback and one always live. The camera can also record directly to CineMag at up to 800 megapixels per second, helping reduce workflow time when saving high-speed recordings.

Image acquisition tools

Extreme Dynamic Range enables two different exposures within a single frame, helping retain detail in areas that would otherwise be over-exposed. Auto Exposure allows the camera to adjust automatically to changing lighting conditions.

Automation and setup

Image-Based Auto-Trigger is standard, enabling triggering from motion within the image. The Internal Mechanical Shutter eliminates the need to manually cap the lens during black balance. The v711 is available in monochrome and colour versions.
