Phantom v611 High Speed Camera

The Phantom v611 is a CMOS-based high-speed camera capable of recording at 6,242 fps at full 1280 x 800 widescreen resolution. At reduced resolutions it can reach up to 680,000 fps, or up to 1,000,000 fps with the FAST option. It comes standard with a CineMag interface and an internal mechanical shutter.

Phantom v611 benefits

High speed at full resolution

The v611 records up to 6,242 fps at its full 1280 x 800 resolution. Reduced resolution operation enables much higher frame rates, with up to 680,000 fps as standard and up to 1,000,000 fps with the FAST option.

Fast exposure control

A 1 μs minimum exposure helps freeze fast motion, with 300 ns available when using the FAST option. This improves image sharpness for demanding high-speed events.

Widescreen CMOS sensor

The 1280 x 800 CMOS sensor helps keep moving targets in frame for longer and supports true 1280 x 720 HD images. The camera is available in monochrome and colour versions.

Output and storage flexibility

Versatile Dual HD-SDI can provide 4:4:4 video, except at 60 fps, or two single 4:2:2 HD-SDI ports. The CineMag interface enables direct recording at up to 800 megapixels per second.

Acquisition and workflow features

Extreme Dynamic Range helps retain detail in scenes with both bright and dark areas by acquiring two different exposures within a single frame. Auto Exposure supports changing lighting conditions, Image-Based Auto-Trigger enables triggering from motion in the image, and the internal mechanical shutter removes the need to manually cap the lens during black balance.

Available in monochrome and colour versions.
