Phantom v2012 High Speed Camera

Providing an excellent tool for critical research, diagnostics and troubleshooting, the 1 megapixel Phantom v2012 captures and saves up to 22 gigapixels-per-second of data at full resolution of 1280 x 800. Reducing the resolution results in frame rates of up to 666,000 fps. With the FAST option, frame rates of up to 1,000,000 fps at reduced resolution are achievable. A minimum exposure time of 290 ns is maintained regardless of frame rate and resolution, further expanding the v2012’s versatility.

Memory and storage management

Maximum flexibility is provided via 72 GB, 144 GB or 288 GB of high-speed memory that can be divided into up to 63 segments. A 288 GB system recording at 10,000 fps can capture a single high-speed shot for up to 20 seconds.

Using the CineMag IV, data can be saved at speeds up to 1 GB/s, allowing large recordings to be transferred in minutes and stored securely.

Ease of use

Common signal connections are conveniently located on the rear panel, including timecode, dual power inputs, HD-SDI, GPS input, frame synchronisation and trigger.

Dual HD-SDI ports support monitoring and can be configured for 4:4:4 dual-link output.

Controlling motion blur

The v2012 features a global electronic shutter with exposures as fast as 1 μs, or down to 265 ns with the FAST option, enabling precise motion freezing in demanding applications.

Sensor characteristics

The 1 megapixel rectangular sensor keeps moving objects in frame longer, improving capture reliability in dynamic scenes.

Image-Based Auto-Trigger enables capture based on motion within the live image, making it easier to record unpredictable events.

Super-fast download

10 Gigabit Ethernet enables data transfer speeds up to 600 MB/s on optimised systems, reducing workflow time and improving access to critical data.
