Phantom v1211

Utilising a widescreen CMOS sensor, the v1211 can acquire and save up to 12 Gigapixels-per-second of data and, at full megapixel resolution of 1280 x 800, over 12,000 frames-per-second can be achieved. At reduced resolutions, the v1211 offers frame rates of up to 571,000 fps and can also be ordered with a FAST option (export controlled), which enables frame rates up to 820,000 fps.

The custom-designed sensor has 28 micron pixels and an innovative design to ensure superb light-sensitivity, essential in ultra-high-speed imaging. Standard 12-bit depth per pixel yields high dynamic range and provides excellent image quality.

Ease-of-use features include common signal connections conveniently located on the back panel, including connections for timecode, dual power inputs, HD-SDI, a GPS input, frame synchronization and trigger. The two HD-SDI ports can be configured in several ways and can act as identical 4:2:2 HD-SDI ports, with one port set up to provide an optional on-screen display for monitoring the on-camera controls and camera operation. The ports can also be configured as a single 4:4:4 Dual-Link HD-SDI port.

An internal mechanical shutter allows for hands-free automatic and/or remote black references.

At ultra-high speeds, memory can become a limitation to recording duration. The v1211 can be equipped with 24GB, 48GB or 96GB of high-speed memory. Cine save times can also be minimised by using the CineMag non-volatile feature, enabling the saving of any shot from high-speed RAM to a CineMag in seconds.
