The VC Nano Tube is a smart camera with integrated lighting all encased within a round, dust-proof housing. The IP65 enclosure houses the remote camera head and a 12mm S-mount lens as well as eight high-power LEDs while the processor and other electronic components remain inside the standard Nano housing.

Ideally suited for applications with limited installation space, the Nano Tube comes into its own in demanding environments where dust, dirt or humidity occur. Available either in a stainless steel or aluminium casing, the protective housing can be quickly and easily installed thanks to an M30 thread.

The VC Nano Tube provides 32 MB flash and 128 MB DDRAM memory and executes all image processing routines, without an additional cost of a PC, via a 700MHz processor. An Ethernet interface and an optional RS232 interface enable integration into automation environments.

The VC Nano Tube is equipped with a global shutter CMOS sensor that provides crystal-clear images even in extremely fast applications.
