The TMC-1405GE is a compact, Gigabit Ethernet colour CCD camera with SXGA resolution for high quality images with high-speed shuttering. The RMC model is identical but also complies to the ROHS hazardous substances standards. The 1/2" 1392 x 1040 pixel sensor is capable of speeds of 30 frames per second at full resolution and higher frame rates with Partial Scan or Binning.

The GigE Vision interface standard ensures high bandwidth (1000 Mbps), uncompromised data transfer up to 100 meter cable lengths with the ability to connect to multiple computers. Additionally low cost cables, standard hardware and high scalability allow for cost effective machine vision and image processing applications. A user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI), provided as part of the camera's extensive Software Development Kit (SDK), allows users to control all camera functions easily. Changes to the acquisition mode of the camera automatically update the API for easy image acquisition. Special features built into the camera's software driver enables seamless data transfer and minimises computer Central Processing Unit (CPU) usage to only a few percent.

The TMC-1405GE offers tremendous flexibility in shutter speeds and scan modes including pulse-width controlled or fixed electronic shuttering up to 1/21,000 second, asynchronous reset no delay shuttering. The unique, user-definable variable partial scan mode enables the user to designate scanning to occur on any contiguous set of lines located anywhere in the full scan area.

With its GigE architecture, the TMC-1405GE is ideally suited for use in a very wide variety of applications where size, performance, cost or cable length is important.
