The TM-6740GE is a fast, uv-enhanced, monochrome GigE Vision camera with VGA resolution ideal for demanding industrial applications. The RM model is identical but also complies to the ROHS hazardous substances standards. With a 640 x 480 pixels resolution it is capable of speeds of 200 frames per second in full frame mode and up to 3205 frames per second with Partial Scan or Binning modes.

The GigE Vision architecture ensures high bandwidth (1000 Mbps), uncompromised data transfer up to 100 meter cable lengths with the ability to connect to multiple computers. Additionally low cost cables, standard hardware and high scalability allow for cost effective machine vision and image processing applications. A user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI), provided as part of the camera's extensive Software Development Kit (SDK), allows users to control all camera functions easily. Changes to the acquisition mode of the camera automatically update the API for easy image acquisition. Special features built into the camera's software driver enables seamless data transfer and minimises computer Central Processing Unit (CPU) usage to only a few percent.
