The CV-A70GE is a colour CCD camera with SVGA resolution for industrial applications. The 768 x 576 pixel sensor is capable of speeds of 60 frames per second at full resolution and up to 250 fps with partial scan. With a pixel size of 8.3µm x 8.3µm the CV-A70GE offers high sensitivity and low noise images.
The GigE Vision interface standard ensures high bandwidth (1000 Mbps), uncompromised data transfer up to 100 meter cable lengths with the ability to connect to multiple computers. Additionally low cost cables, standard hardware and high scalability allow for cost effective machine vision and image processing applications. The unique sequencer function makes it possible to change parameters such as exposure time, gain and Region Of Interest on the fly. The programmable General Purpose IO allows flexible configuration of inputs/outputs as well as the timer/counter function.
A user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI), provided as part of the camera's extensive Software Development Kit (SDK), allows users to control all camera functions easily. Changes to the acquisition mode of the camera automatically update the API for easy image acquisition.
With its compact form factor and GigE architecture the CV-A70GE is well suited for wide range of applications within industrial factory automation, intelligent traffic systems (ITS) and medical applications where size, performance, cost or cable length is important.
