The UI-5240RE is a GigE monochrome camera with e2v CMOS sensor in 1.3 Megapixel resolution (1280x1024 pixels).

The e2v sensor combines the features and advantages of CCD and CMOS with its extremely high sensitivity, near-infrared imaging and global shutter functionality.

Particularly suited for harch environments, the UI-5240RE's extremely rugged housing meets the IP65 / IP67 protection classes when used together with an optional lens tube.

The connectors for power and digital I/Os (opto-coupled, up to 30 V) as well as the GigE port are also splash water proof.
