The GigE uEye HE is a 1.3 Megapixel resolution (1280 x 1024 pixels), high-performance family of GigE cameras that offers a rich set of additional features and functions compared with other uEye models.

GigE uEye HE cameras have a higher pixel depth and can output up to 12 bits/pixel images. In addition, they come with built-in image pre-processing power that can be used to achieve higher throughput, made possible by the integrated 64 MB image memory and two independent processors. The internal FPGA with 64 MB image memory offers additional features and ensures fast and reliable data transfer.

As well, GigE uEye HE cameras come with programmable I/Os and an RS-232 interface that can be used to control external devices and, with the benefits of GigE technology, higher bandwidth and cable lengths up to 100 m can be achieved.

Combining the features and advantages of CCD and CMOS sensors, the UI-5240HE features extremely high sensitivity, an unrivalled level of CMOS sensor colour fidelity and global shutter functionality.

Besides the lockable GigE port, the UI-5240HE comes with a multi-I/O-interface including 4 digital in-/outputs and an RS232 interface.

The GigE uEye HE is optionally available with a 90° angled housing.
