The uEye UI-2240RE-C is a colour CCD camera with SXGA resolution offering outstanding performance for industrial applications. With a 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution it is capable of speeds of 15 frames per second at full resolution and higher frame rates with Binning or Area Of Interest (AOI). The CCD sensor is high quality, with square pixels and a global shutter for freezing motion.

The UI-2240RE-C features a ruggedised housing which connects with the optional available lens tubes and so conforms to protection classes IP65 and IP67. This allows the camera to be used in even the most harsh environments and locations. Additional features include a trigger input for synchronisation to external events, strobe output for flash control and digital I/O for control of local devices. It can be used with C mount lenses ready for professional use.

With its USB 2.0 architecture, the UI-2240RE-C is ideally suited for use with PC, Notebook and Embedded Systems in harsh and rugged environments. The UI-2240RE-C is best suited to applications where the image is moving and where the image quality cannot be compromised.
