The uEye UI-2220RE-M is a fast monochrome CCD camera with WVGA resolution offering a high quality image for industrial applications. With a 768 x 576 pixel resolution it is capable of speeds of 52 frames per second at full resolution and up to 100+ frames per second with Binning or Area Of Interest (AOI). With a 8.3µm x 8.3µm pixel area the UI-2220RE-M gives excellent sensitivity and low noise images.

The UI-2220RE-M features a ruggedised housing which connects with the optional available lens tubes and so conforms to protection classes IP65 and IP67. This allows the camera to be used in even the most harsh environments and locations. Additional features include a trigger input for synchronisation to external events, strobe output for flash control and digital I/O for control of local devices. It can be used with C mount lenses ready for professional use.

With its USB 2.0 architecture, the UI-2220RE-M is is best suited to applications where motion or low light levels are factors, where the image quality cannot be compromised and where the environment is harsh or rugged.
