The UI-1240ML features an e2v CMOS NIR sensor with 1.3 Megapixel resolution (1280x1024 Pixel), with outstanding near-infrared sensitivity of 40% at 850 nm and a QE of 70% maximum and delivering 25 frames-per-second.

Particularly suited for limited-space applications, due to the camera's compact and lightweight magnesium housing and the combined data transfer and power supply via the USB bus, the UI-1240ML has a lockable USB 2.0 connector and metal casing which ensure correct operations even in extreme industrial environments.

Sensor
The e2v sensor offers four shutter modes and can switch between individual modes while the camera is in operation. providing great flexibility if requirements change. The efficient shutter modes guarantee ideal quantum efficiency and hence excellent image quality. With four shutter modes from which to choose, adjusting the shutter mode according to the signal-to-noise ratio for distortion-free images or in critical lighting situations is an easy operation. The sensor allows capturing highly dynamic scenes at best image quality even in difficult light conditions and with global shutter mode due to the Log-mode feature, the parameters of which can easily be adjusted via uEye Cockpit software. Being able to obtain the best setting according to the requirements of various situations makes this sensor the perfect replacement for costly HDR sensor solutions.
