Teledyne Dalsa's Linea Lite has been designed
in a manner which aims to help customers access lower system costs.
Albeit small in size, the Linea Lite is a very capable camera, however
it is not intended to be a direct replacement for Linea in all use
cases. Please see below for more detail on the differences.
With a strong emphasis on small size, weight, and power (SWaP),
Linea Lite features a proprietary Teledyne Digital Imaging sensor
with performance that is ideal for a wide variety of applications.
Linea Lite can be configured to deliver up to 3x the Full Well Capacity
of Linea, or, to match the responsivity of Linea by summing two
rows of pixels. Linea Lite will initially be available in resolutions
of 2k mono and 4k mono and colour models with follow. Both cameras
will output over the GigE interface. The Linea Lite features 64
kHz burst line rate with TurboDrive, programmable I/Os, power over
Ethernet (PoE), precision time protocol (PTP), and more.
