Teledyne Dalsa's Linea Lite has been designed in a manner which aims to help customers access lower system costs. Albeit small in size, the Linea Lite is a very capable camera, however it is not intended to be a direct replacement for Linea in all use cases.

With a strong emphasis on small size, weight, and power (SWaP), Linea Lite features a proprietary Teledyne Digital Imaging sensor with performance that is ideal for a wide variety of applications. Linea Lite can be configured to deliver up to 3x the Full Well Capacity of Linea, or, to match the responsivity of Linea by summing two rows of pixels. Linea Lite is available with superior colour fidelity from 2k to 8k resolution, with both colour and monochrome options. Linea Lite is primarily output over the GigE interface, however a CameraLink option is available. The Linea Lite features 64 kHz burst line rate with TurboDrive, programmable I/Os, power over Ethernet (PoE), precision time protocol (PTP), and more.
