The Genie TS is a next-generation camera platform engineered to meet the critical performance and environmental requirements of challenging applications. The versatility of the Genie TS camera series gives it wide industry appeal and enables it to meet the performance and operational requirements of a wide range of applications in the semiconductor, electronics, food, packaging and manufacturing industries. According to the company, the Genie TS is also the first machine vision camera platform engineered for Intelligent Traffic Systems applications having a remarkable dynamic range to optimise image capture from sun-to-shade.
The Genie TS-M2500 uses a Teledyne DALSA CMOS, monochrome sensor with a resolution of 2560x 2048 and enables image capture rates of 29 fps in 5Mpixels resolution while maintaining exceptional image quality using a true global shutter.
The Genie TS-M2500 takes advantage of gigabit Ethernet technology, transmitting data over standard CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables to distances of up to 100 m.
Like all Genie cameras, the TS-M2500 is based on AIA (Automated Imaging Association) GigE Vision Standard to directly link the camera to a PC.
