The Prosilica GE680 is a very fast, VGA-resolution, high-performance machine vision camera, running at 200 frames at VGA resolution (640x480), uncompressed, over its Gigabit Ethernet interface. Working with standard GigE hardware makes cable lengths of up to 100 metres possible, using conventional Cat5e network cabling.

Available in monochrome or colour models, the camera's CCD sensor makes it suitable for applications where speed and image quality are key requirements and can be deployed for use in:
