The Prosilica 4 Megapixel GE2040/2040C is a high-resolution Gigabit Ethernet interface camera incorporating a high-quality Kodak KAI-04022 1/2" progressive scan CCD sensor providing superior monochrome and colour images, excellent sensitivity and low noise.

Running at 15 frames per second at 2048 x 2048 resolution, the Prosilica GE2040/2040C uses standard Gigabit Ethernet hardware and cables operating with lengths of up to 100 meters using conventional Cat5e cables.
