The Alvium MIPI CSI-2 cameras provide a unique System-on-Chip
design for flexibility and freedom when designing machine vision
and embedded vision applications.
Alvium cameras are given an advantage over competitive products
with their customised (Application Specific Integrated Circuit)
ASIC designed by Allied Vision. By designing a custom ASIC Allied
Vision have eliminated the need to use an FPGA as typically designed
into competetive cameras. This gives Allied Vision full control
of their camera design. With volume of scale it can give them a
price advantage and offers them a more flexible platform in which
to design camera features that others find difficult and more expensive.
The Alvium MIPI CSI-2 models are available in monochrome, colour,
UV, VSWIR, NIR and SWIR wavelength bands. The Alvium 1800 MIPI CSI-2
vision camera models provide a wide breadth of functionality. Features
and functions include Auto control, Basic control, Image size, Image
enhancements, Image correction, Triggering and synchronisation,
maintenance, User Interface and Data transmission. These offer significant
advantages to a wide range of imaging applications.
