redesign the uEye+ USB and uEye+ GigE Camera series

 Given
the current worldwide bottleneck situation regarding various electronic
and semiconductor components used in a broad variety of products,
IDS Imaging Development Systems have been facing constraints in
manufacturing some cameras. To overcome the issue iDS have redesigned
their uEye+ products and so can now deliver with relatively short
lead-times. These modifications are the basis of the new uEye+
Rev.1.2 cameras.
Camera functionality in the new uEye+ design remains exactly the
same as that of the previous design. The new uEye+ Rev.1.2 design
is supported by the iDS Peak Software and is not backward compatible
to the previous IDS Software Suite.
IDS Peak is the current version of software and is perfectly matched
to the iDS uEye+ cameras. It provides an innovative power in a
free camera software platform.
iDS Peak uses standard Vision transport protocols GigE Vision®
and USB3 Vision®. This standardises communication with uEye+
cameras. By using these standards the user gets greater compatibility,
reproducible operation, stable data transmission while maintaining
flexibility and independence.
