New G series offers Peltier-cooled,
prime-quality, CCD-sensor imaging
with up to 11 MP
Built for use in demanding applications are GigE Vision-compliant and
designed for low-noise image acquisition even with long exposure times.
The new G-series Bigeye GigE Peltier-cooled cameras comes in a compact,
robust metal housing with an hermetically-sealed vacuum section which
ensures maintenance-free operations for years, even under adverse conditions.
Distinguishing themselves by producing low-noise images,
these cameras are especially useful for applications requiring long integration
time, low noise and very high image quality. Long exposure
times result in sensor warming which produces background noise and low-quality
images. The Bigeye camera, with its cooled sensor, generates minimal background
noise to produce an excellent signal-to-noise ratio in spite of long exposure
times. Images produced with the Bigeye are impressive as is necessary
for the most demanding applications.
The Bigeye G range is available in several monochrome models
which include two NIR versions, and are designed for
applications requiring sensitivity both in the visible spectrum and the
NIR spectrum.
