The QImaging Retiga-4000RV is a 12 Bit CCD monochrome cooled camera for high dynamic range, low light fluorescence and Polarization applications. The 2048 x 2048 pixel sensor is capable of speeds of 4 frames per second at full resolution and up to 125 fps with Binning or Region Of Interest (ROI). High-speed, low-noise electronics provide linear digital data for rapid image capture. A three-stage Peltier device and an all-metal, hermetic-vacuum-sealed CCD chamber provide state-of-the-art cooling to -30˚C; the camera’s software-selectable, regulated cooling enables precise control in single-degree increments.

The camera comes with iGlo™ Technology, which features an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display that provides users with key information about camera settings in a convenient, ergonomic way. The IEEE 1394 FireWire digital interface allows ease of use and installation. No Frame-Grabber is required. The Retiga-4000RV includes QCapture software (Windows and Mac OS) for real-time image preview and capture. A Software Development Kit (SDK) is available upon request for interfacing with custom software.

The Retiga-4000RV digital camera is suited for applications such as Quantitative Fluorescence Imaging, Live-Cell Imaging,Semiconductor Inspection,Chemiluminescence, Particle Tracking and LCD Inspection.
