Cooke Sensicam QE Camera

The Sensicam QE is a high-performance cooled digital 12-bit CCD camera system combining advanced CCD and electronics technology. It features thermo-electrical cooling of the image sensor, extremely low noise and outstanding quantum efficiency for high spectral sensitivity, including in the near infrared.

Cooled CCD performance

Thermo-electrical cooling of the image sensor down to -12°C helps support stable, low-noise imaging performance.

Low-noise imaging

Extremely low noise down to 4 e- rms makes the Sensicam QE suitable for sensitive imaging applications where clean signal capture is important.

High quantum efficiency

The camera offers outstanding quantum efficiency, providing high spectral sensitivity in general and especially in the near infrared.

Flexible exposure control

Software-selectable exposure time modes range from 500 ns using fast shutter mode through to long exposure operation.

PC connectivity

A high-speed serial data link connects the camera system to a PC, with a fibre optic link also available.

Scientific imaging applications

The Sensicam QE is suited to low-light and low-noise imaging applications, including fluorescence imaging, confocal imaging and light microscopy.
