The Prosilica GS 2450 is a 5 Megapixel, very high-resolution, Gigabit Ethernet machine-vision camera operating with a high-quality Sony ICX625 CCD image sensor that provides superior image quality, excellent sensitivity, and low noise.

The camera has a frame rate of 15 frames per second at 2448 x 2050 resolution and operates using standard gigabit Ethernet hardware and conventional Cat-5e cables up to 100 metres long.

The GS2450/2450C is available in monochrome or colour models.
