The Alvium 1800 USB3 cameras provide a unique System-on-Chip design for flexibility and freedom when designing machine vision and embedded vision applications.

The corner stone technology that gives Alvium cameras an advantage over competitive products is a customised (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) ASIC designed by Allied Vision. By designning a custom ASIC Allied Vision have eliminated the need to use an FPGA as typically designed into competetive cameras. This gives Allied Vision full control of their camera design. With volume of scale it can give them a price advantage and offers them a more flexible platform in which to design camera features that others find difficult and more expensive.

The Alvium 1800 USB3 vision camera models provide a wide breadth of functionality. Features and functions include Auto control, Basic control, Image size, Image enhancements, Image correction, Triggering and synchronisation, maintenance, User Interface and Data transmission. These offer significant advantages to a wide range of imaging applications. These cameras are also available in monochrome or colour.

Alvium 1800 U is your entry into high-performance imaging with Alvium Technology for industrial applications. These small and lightweight cameras deliver high image quality and frame rates. With its USB3 Vision compliant interface and industrial-grade hardware, the Alvium is your workhorse for machine vision applications whether it is on a PC-based or an embedded system.

 

Across the Alvium 1800 U family is a high degree versatility, the camera family offers models models with UV, NIR and SWIR wavelength bands.
Alvium 1800 U UV Cameras
Alvium 1800 U UV Cameras are perfect for capturing Ultra-Violet light. They're a high quality, ruggedized camera built for a wide range of UV applications.

Alvium 1800 U SWIR Cameras
Alvium SWIR (Short-Wave-Infra-Red) cameras are equipped with Sony SenSWIR InGaAs sensor technology making them sensitive in the short wave infrared spectrum ranging from 400 nm to 1,700 nm at. The Alvium 1800-u family includes SWIR camera models that incorporate a Sony IMX991 SenSWIR sensor (Alvium C/U/G1-030) and an IMX990 Sony SenSWIR sensor (Alvium C/U/G1/G5-130).

Traffic surveillance: Licence-plate recognition where outstanding image quality and multiple regions of interest are required
