Phantom Miro C321 Air for rugged application use in airborne and vehicle crash testing

The Phantom Miro C321 Air is engineered for demanding applications such as vehicle crash testing, where accuracy and reliability for every test is critical. The Miro C321 Air has been designed to generate high quality images in industrial, rugged, airborne environments. Capable of capturing 1480 fps at 1920 x 1080 with a minimum exposure time of just 1 microsecond, the Phantom Miro C321 Air excels at capturing test events with precision and minimal motion blur. With reduced resolutions, the Miro C321 Air can reach frame rates of -up-to 94,000 fps.

Featuring 16GB of internal memory, a CFast non-volatile storage capability, memory partitioning, and autosave functionality, the Phantom Miro C321 facilitates the secure storage of multiple shots. Additionally, it offers a range of functionalities, including Programmable I/O for signal configuration, along with various standard Phantom Features that contribute to flexible test capabilities.

The Phantom Miro C321 Air will be tested to the following testing specifications: STD 810H environmental, MIL-STD 704F avionics power and MIL-STD 461G EMI.


Key Features
• The Miro C321 Air camera capitalises on the robust and well-established design of the Miro C321 vehicle crash test camera but is subjected to additional testing to meet rigorous Aerospace requirements.
• The Miro C321 Air is subjected to temperatures ranging from -55C to +50C and all PC boards undergo conformal coating for humidity for the most challenging environments.
• Safeguard data with a secure, removable Flash, and utilise Auto-Save to Flash for swift shot preservation.
• With 16GB of RAM, the camera offers over 13 seconds of recording time at 500 fps with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), and more recording time at lower resolutions. The presence of 63 partitions facilitates multiple shots.
• Passive cooling is employed to mitigate vibration effects.
