Constantly striving to improve their products, JAI introduce the GigE version of their popular Power-over-Mini-Cameralink model.

Developed as the result of requests from customers who valued the features and performance of the earlier-released PMCL camera, the GigE version not only incorporates the same features and performance but also provides networking flexibility and "grabber-less" operation.

About the CM-030GE RH
Sensor
Part of Jai's C3 Compact series, the camera is based on Sony's monochrome ICX424 1/3" progressive scan CCD with 0.3 million pixels and provides a standard GigE Vision / GeniCam-compliant digital interface. The CCD sensor is positioned in a remote head with a 2-meter-long cable making this camera suitable for space- or weight-critical machine vision applications.

Output
With 656 x 494 active pixels, the CM-030GE RH delivers 120 full frames/second in continuous (free-run) mode. Higher frame rates (up to 504 frames/second) can be achieved by using the partial scan modes or vertical binning mode.

Triggering
Multiple trigger modes are available in addition to continuous operation, including edge pre-select, pulse width control, frame delay, and reset continuous triggering. The camera also features a “sequence trigger” mode which enables users to pre-define multi-trigger repeating sequences where gain, shutter, and/or region of interest (ROI) is instantly changed as each new trigger in the sequence is received.

Flexible configuration
The programmable GPIO allows flexible configuration of inputs/outputs as well as the timer/counter function.

Packaged software
The CM-030GE-RH is supported by JAI’s own vendor-independent SDK and control tool software (Windows 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista), as well as being compatible with any GigE Vision / GenICam-compliant third-party software libraries and tools.
