The MV4 family of Photon3D CMOS are designed with LUXIMA (7 models) and
CMOSIS (1 model) image sensors for high triangulation rates and have been
optimized for high frame rates as well as high sensitivity. These cameras
can either use a FIR algorithm for asymmetric line profiles or a COG algorithm
for symmetric profiles.
The triangulation algorithm activated in these cameras calculate the line
position of a laser line with 1/16 sub-pixel accuracy.
The MV4 camera models come in either GigE or 10GigE interfaces and is
therefore able to capture 3D profiles without using a frame grabber. These
cameras have a complete encoder interface that can be configured for the
TTL, RS422, HTL and dHTL interface standards, as well as various outputs.
External devices with an RS485 interface can also be optionally controlled.
Of course all I/O's are galvanically decoupled from the camera electronics.
Photon3D laser triangulation is a technique used to create 3D models of
objects by analyzing the distortions of a laser beam projected onto them.
