The JAI fusion series is a product family of eight high-end multi-sensor
prism cameras that simultaneously splits light into either two or three
separate colour and NIR sensors with precise pixel-to-pixel alignment.
With inbuilt prism technology, the Fusion cameras ensure two or three-channel
alignment, allowing multiple inspection stations to be replaced with just
the one setup. These cameras also offer separate exposure time adjustment
for each channel so to ensure a consistent signal-to-noise ratio at all
times.
Within JAI's Fusion Series is the Fusion Flex-Eye product line. The Fusion
Flex-Eye series allows system designers to choose where and how wide the
multispectral wavebands are. The four Fusion Flex-Eye camera models allow
users to access powerful inspection techniques with cameras that are fine
tuned to look at specific features. This can reveal new and additional
imaging information as well as reduce cost and time to develop an application.
