The CV-M9GE is a 3CCD colour Gigabit Ethernet camera with XGA resolution for high color fidelity in industrial applications. It uses a 3CCD prism design and three progressive scan 1/3" CCD sensors each with 10-bit or 8-bit 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. It is capable of speeds of 30 frames per second at full resolution continuous (free-run) mode.
The GigE Vision interface standard ensures high bandwidth (1000 Mbps), uncompromised data transfer up to 100 meter cable lengths with the ability to connect to multiple computers. Additionally low cost cables, standard hardware and high scalability allow for cost effective machine vision and image processing applications.
The CV-M9GE features a compact RGB prism for C-mount lenses, several asynchronous reset modes or continuous operation. The prism assembly features co-site sampling, where all 3 CCDs are aligned to each other without spatial offset resulting in a highly accurate, hi-fidelity colour image. The unique sequencer function makes it possible to change parameters such as exposure time, Gain and Region Of Interest on the fly. The camera features a chromatic-shading reduction function and so makes selection of a suitable lens easier. A user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI), provided as part of the camera's extensive Software Development Kit (SDK), allows users to control all camera functions easily.
With its GigE architecture and high color fidelity, the CV-M9GE is ideally suited for use in a very wide variety of applications within the printing industry, electronics and semiconductor manufacturing as well as for biomedical screening/classification where size, performance, cost or cable length is important.
