Integrated smart camera with ID software
Based on the advanced BOA Smart Camera platform and manufactured to identify parts automatically, for traceability and error-proofing, the BOA IDR combines 1D and 2D reader tools with character (OCR) and pattern recognition capabilities, to identify or verify all required product markings before the item leaves the factory floor.

Easily to set up and to run, the IDR application can be deployed using a standard web browser interface. No software installation is necessary, excepting the fully functional emulator that supports offline development and debugging. Controls are easy to navigate and accommodate users of all experience levels but includes advanced features, such as custom scripting, are provided for more complex applications. Runtime Images can be saved to the offline PC using the Ethernet interface. The emulator maximizes machine up time during application development and
maintenance.

BOA IDR provides standard industrial Ethernet protocols for integrating into the factory network, including support for popular PLCs such as Rockwell Automation and Siemens. BOA ensures that data is moved quickly and accurately with minimal integration effort.

In addition to Ethernet, BOA IDR provides serial RS-232 and discrete I/O connections, as well as expandable I/O options. A dedicated strobe output is further provided for direct light control.

BOA IDR is compatible with industry standard M12 cord sets to minimize hardware integration costs.
