Emberion VS20 has full camera functionality including calibration, image preprocessing, thermal control, power management and standard digital camera interfaces. The Emberion VS20 housing provides a wide operating temperature range, efficient thermal management and protection against dust and water. The sensor package also offers a thermo-electric cooling (TEC) element.

The Emberion VS20 GigE delivers outstanding responsivity over a broad spectral range from visible (400 nm) to short-wave infrared (SWIR, 2000 nm) wavelengths in room temperature operation. The VS20 GigE delivers a large dynamic range with very low noise to eliminate saturation. It comes with a GigE interface and runs at 400 frames-per-second.

The Emberion VS20 VIS-SWIR cameras are built with a Colloidal Quantum Dot (CQD) sensor. CQD sensors are built with wet chemistry processes and offer a tunable photon absorption range and broad wavelength coverage. CQD short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensors offer high quantum efficiency, low noise and can operate at elevated temperatures.
