The
Genie TS is a next-generation camera platform engineered to meet the critical
performance and environmental requirements of challenging applications.
The versatility of the Genie TS camera series gives it wide industry appeal
and enables it to meet the performance and operational requirements of a
wide range of applications in the semiconductor, electronics, food, packaging
and manufacturing industries. According to the company, the Genie TS is
also the first machine vision camera platform engineered for Intelligent
Traffic Systems applications having a remarkable dynamic range to optimise
image capture from sun-to-shade.
The Genie TS-C3500 uses a Teledyne DALSA CMOS, colour sensor with a resolution of 3520 x 2200 and enables image capture rates of 15 fps in 8-Mpixels resolution while maintaining exceptional image quality using a true global shutter.
The Genie TS-C3500 takes advantage of gigabit Ethernet technology, transmitting data over standard CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables to distances of up to 100 metres.
Like all Genie cameras, the TS-C3500 is based on AIA (Automated Imaging Association) GigE Vision Standard to directly link the camera to a PC.
