The Stemmer Imaging FGI board is a GigE Vision-compliant interface board for easier integration into customer applications and is compatible with all Sony FCB-E series OEM camera modules having integrated zoom lens and motorised iris.

The FGI board provides digital uncompressed image data directly to a PC or network allowing full control of the feature-rich Sony FCB camera modules over Gigabit Ethernet with GigE Vision and GenICam-compliant interfaces.

Users of the FGI GigE board can take full advantage of the progressive scan sensors within the cameras, effectively doubling the resolution compared to previous interlaced versions of the cameras.

The board is supplied with a powerful, hardware-independent software development kit allowing easy and reliable connection to the camera and also enabling the user to take advantage of the unparalleled performance and reliability of GigE Vision technology.
