Adept Turnkey Managing Director Marc Fimeri values Adept's relationship
with Specim Hyperspectral and carries a great deal of confidence
in Specim's productive qualities.
“We regard Specim as one of our key suppliers because they
offer high quality hyperspectral products and remain a leader by
releasing new unique innovative technology. In fact the technology
that comes out of Oulu is quite remarkable for a town of just over
200,000 people which is clearly attributable to the very successful
opto-electronics institute VTT and the Oulu University which are
located there," he said.
"Specim are a great bunch of smart people and we always enjoy
visiting them in their beautiful part if the world. We very much
value the relationship and the success we have with providing their
world-class products to our Australian and New Zealand customers.”
Specim provide
hyperspectral cameras that range in wavelength from 400nm to 12,000nm
and also offer systems for the laboratory, for the field and for
airborne applications. Most recently they have led the market with
the new FX
series of hyperspectral cameras aimed at the industrial market.
Designed for machine builders to incorporate into their sorting,
materials handling and inspection systems the FX series feature
cameras that are fast, small and very cost effective. The series
currently includes the
FX10 VNIR, FX17
NIR and FX50
MWIR models.
