With a further release of their 3D camera,
Photonfocus offer a 2.2 Megapixel CMOS camera with a Field Programmable
Gate Array (FGPA) providing the ability for on-board calculation
of line position and outputs the line position and qualification
information to each line position value.
This smart camera was developed for laser triangulation
systems with high triangulation rates and, along with Photonfocus'
other 3D camera family members, is optimised for high sensitivity
and with a robust algorithm for line determination.
An added cost-advantage is the camera's GigE interface which
allows the acquisition of 3D profiles without frame grabbers. |

The user is supported by the
PF Suite 3D, a graphical user interface for a quick evaluation of
the camera and a SDK for the implementation of the 3D CMOS camera.
