LMI Technology changes Gocator covering to improve durability and efficiency

LMI Technologies have developed an improved anodized finish base which offers higher precision where surfaces withstand higher tolerances and connect together to form a tighter fit. Additionally, an anodized finish results in better thermal dissipation allowing heat to conduct away from the sensor through the mounting hardware and so leading to lower operating temperatures. With anodization, however, there is a limited colour palette from which to choose which does not include the present-day yellow.

The anodized finish is a significant improvement for the Gocator in terms of durability (less noticeable scratching and marking), lower operating temperature (leading to improved overall lifetime on electronics and laser diodes), more precise fit, and a more elegant appearance in customer machines.
