| Tracking Window (Gocator 2300 models only) |
The Tracking Window is a smaller configurable window within the active area that dynamically adjusts in real-time to track Gocator's laser line based on changes in the object's height. For applications like road or web scanning, Gocator can deliver high scan rates by concentrating on the surface, no matter where that is within the measurement range. Inspecting relatively flat, continuous surfaces just got faster |
| GenTL Driver Support | Integrating Gocator into systems that use additional 3D image processing for defect detection and 3D modeling is now much easier. With GenTL Driver Support users can control Gocator and process 3D data and gray-scale intensity images in real-time. Supporting the GenTL Driver standard makes Gocator an even better 3D data acquisition device for systems with established 3D libraries. |
| Circle Fit Measurement Tool | Gocator can now measure cylindrical objects like pipes, dowels, and rods with greater ease and accuracy without external or off-line metrology applications. The Circle Fit tool calculates diameter and circle center from Gocator profile data. Users can now measure and Q&C process cylindrical objects for gains in productivity. |
| Line Error Measurement Tool | The new Line Error Tool allows Gocator users to measure deviations from a flat profile in order to determine how flat a surface is and set pass, fail, and tolerance decisions accordingly. For applications like sheet metal, calendared rubber, and paper production, this new tool makes it easy to monitor flatness without the need for costly external contact measuring systems. Non-contact measuring of surface flatness has never been easier. |
| Z Fixturing | Constant reconfiguring of systems to account for height differences of similar objects can be tedious and cut into overall production. Gocator can now compensate for significant changes in a target's height (z-axis) - like the discrepancies caused by conveyor belt movement. Z Fixturing makes it possible to measure similar objects with varying heights but identical features without constant reconfiguration of measurement tools. |
