AVT
Pike F-1100/1600 firmware update
Defect pixel correction
To improve image quality of the Pike F-1100 and Pike F-1600
cameras, AVT has developed a “Defect Pixel Correction” feature
as follows:
Overview of the function:
• Kodak provides a “Defect Pixel List” according to
their defect pixel definition for each sensor delivered to AVT
• This list is imported by AVT into the Pike F-1100 / F-1600 as
factory default during manufacturing process.
• Note: By default, defect pixel correction is enabled for all Pike
F-1100 / F-1600 cameras from version 00.03.01.00 on
• Marked defect pixel will be corrected by calculated values of
adjacent pixels
• User is able to add / change / delete stored defect pixel map
via AVT Smartview version 1.13 and above
